My wife and I have three boys. They all have played travel sports – mostly baseball – during their lives. When it came time to find the perfect travel team for them – ALL of them – it was overwhelming AND underwhelming at the same time.

When my oldest son started playing “travel ball” in 2016, travel baseball was in its infancy. Only a couple dozen teams in our surrounding area; most skill levels were lumped into the same tournaments; and you had to pretty much rely on “word-of-mouth” to choose a team. Here we are, several years later, travel team sports have grown exponentially, and we’re still relying on “word-of-mouth” and combing through social media to gather information on this very important decision.
